Ingredients:

  • For the potatoes:
    • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    • Salt, for boiling
  • For the Béchamel sauce:
    • 50 g (3.5 tbsp) butter
    • 50 g (3.5 tbsp) all-purpose flour
    • 500 ml (2 cups) milk
    • 1 pinch of nutmeg
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
